Issue Two: Ugly Ducklings Come Home

Ugly Ducklings Come Home, the second issue of Prayers for Children, has climbed out of its roost and is ready to enter yours. The new issue is available at www.prayersforchildren.be and features work by Elijah Burgher, Dunstan Christopher, Elan Dia, Zackary Drucker, Jason Fritz Michael, Gay Orphans, Ghoulz, Luke Gilford, Amanda Kirkhuff, Laura Makinen, Jacqueline Mary, Murphy Maxwell, Michael McConnell, David Meanix, Sergio Ortiz, Michelle Wolfie Rodriguez, and Robbie Sweeny.

-Poet and editor Juliet Cook will soon be publishing the next new Blood Pudding Press chapbook, called ANGEL FACE TRAILER, including darkly delicious poems by Juliet Cook herself accompanied by hideously yummy Italian translations by Letizia Merello. -P4C co-conspirator Gina Abelkop’s press Birds of Lace recently released the 7th issue of Finery, which features work from several P4C contributors:  music from Elan Dia, Rhani Remedes and Ben Wacks (Gay Orphans) band Bangs of Hunger, as well as written work by Juliet Cook, Sergio Ortiz and Michelle Wolfie Rodriguez. Birds of Lace also recently released Christine Vi-Van Nguyen’s chapbook Blood and Jasmine When I Dreamed Her; all BOL titles can be perused & purchased at birdsoflace.etsy.com.
