POPSICKLE 2010 unites Brooklyn’s literary curators for a two-day festival of readings, performances and screenings. The festival will take place on Saturday July 24th from 3-8 PM & Sunday July 25th 1-5 PM at Bushwick’s beloved MARKET HOTEL | 957 Broadway | Brooklyn.

Issue Two: Ugly Ducklings Come Home
17 JunUgly Ducklings Come Home, the second issue of Prayers for Children, has climbed out of its roost and is ready to enter yours. -P4C co-conspirator Gina Abelkop’s press Birds of Lace recently released the 7th issue of Finery, which features work from several P4C contributors: music from Elan Dia, Rhani Remedes and Ben Wacks (Gay Orphans) band Bangs of Hunger, as well as written work by Juliet Cook, Sergio Ortiz and Michelle Wolfie Rodriguez. Birds of Lace also recently released Christine Vi-Van Nguyen’s chapbook Blood and Jasmine When I Dreamed Her; all BOL titles can be perused & purchased at birdsoflace.etsy.com.
